These live in your browser's local storage and help the site work. They aren't sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

Light or dark theme, if you picked one.

Your privacy choice and when you made it.

sfbb:course:<episode>

Where you are in a mini course and how you answered.

sfbb:quiz:<episode>

When you finished a quiz and your score, so the site can offer a short review round later.

sfbb:guess:<episode>

The guess you made before an episode gave the answer.

sfbb:listen:<episode>

Where you stopped listening and your playback speed.

Cookies

Small files your browser sends back to our server. We use only this one, and it isn't for tracking.

NEXT_LOCALE

The language of the page you opened, so links keep you in it. Set only when that language differs from your browser's, and gone when you close the browser.

Analytics

Right now this site runs no analytics. If we add them, they'll load only after you choose Accept all or switch Analytics on, and this page will name the service we use.

Videos from YouTube

Videos don't load until you press play. Until then the page shows a cover image stored on this site and sends nothing to YouTube or Google. When you press play, the player loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); from then on YouTube can set its own cookies and similar storage, and YouTube's privacy policy applies to it. You can also watch on YouTube directly with the "Watch on YouTube" link.
